Daily PE

Remember stay healthy whilst your off by completing the Joe Wicks PE lessons. They will be put on Youtube each morning at 9am, but you can do them whenever you want! Please send me some pictures, so I can see the PE lessons in action!

For this weeks geography we would like you to create a "Clipart Map" of Brazil. This is a Map which included drawings of key places, famous events, sports, animals etc. Please find two examples below. Make them as colourful and creative as possible!

Activity Ideas

With the weekend approaching please find lots of activity ideas here!


Topic Day - Science


Every Friday is Topic Day.


Today I want you to research animals that live in different habitats.


You must research an animal that lives in each of the following and examine how they are adapted to live and survive in their habitat:
  •  In the artic
  • Around the equator 
  •  Under the ground
  • In a tree

To complete this work you could design posters, make models, produce a video or many more. The more creative the better!


Once you have finished make sure you email me your project, I can’t wait to see them!

Thankyou to those who send through your letter yesterday, they are already looking really good. Today's task is using a different colored pen you are to edit your writing.

To complete this you should:
  • check spelling
  • ensure all sentences make sense
  • include at least one each of the following: colons, passive sentences, cohesive devices, parenthesis, subordinating clauses
  • uplevel the vocabulary

Hi Hazel Class,

Welcome to your class blog. On here you will find activities to complete and links to many exciting educational websites. This will be updated daily at 9am  Monday - Thursday.

Children have also been given their previous SATs papers, a reading book and revision guides to work through while they are off. 

To get in contact with Mr Morris please use the class email: hazel@poplarsfarm.bradford.sch.uk. I will be available between the hours of 9am-12pm and 1pm- 3pm.

Children should be encouraged to photograph and/or email work to the class email whenever possible. Your child will be given a specific day of the week to receive feedback for the work that has been submitted.
